Nike Mercurial Superfly V FG Soccer Cleats (Red/White)

Nike Mercurial Superfly V FG Soccer Cleats (Red/White)

The unknown future of Flyknit boots felt like a bit of an odd one. There has never felt like the Magista or Superfly IV had much room for change, but the Superfly V certainly seems to suggest that Nike will take their knitted toys and continue pushing the boundaries of the boot world. For anybody looking for the Swoosh to take their first big swing of summer and miss, we hate to disappoint...but the Nike Mercurial Superfly V is most definitely a boot at the top of its game, and at the top of the boot game. There's no doubt that the Superfly silo offers one of the most, if not the most barefoot/second skin sensation, and the latest Superfly V continues that touching, dribbling, and striking feedback whilst also incorporating a higher level of grip through the aggressive Speed Rib upper enhancing friction on the ball. The essentially ribbed upper flows from heel to toe and also offers a slightly increased padded feel compared to previous ultra-thin Superfly models through a cushioned characteristic.

One of the biggest changes to the Superfly V is the soleplate. Gone is the carbon-fibre, replaced with a lighter and more flexible plastic. Considering how often carbon-fibre becomes a durability issue, it seems like a no-brainer move by Nike...especially considering the improvements they've made with this soleplate. Extremely flexible out of the box, it makes sure to properly execute a stiffness necessary to be responsive while still being flexible enough to avoid hot-spots and aid in the overall comfort. Add in that it's 40% lighter than carbon-fibre, and you've got a winner on all fronts.

Mercurial Superfly V is the most advanced boot technology wise, ever produced by Nike. By combining science with design, Nike has managed to develop a boot where all components work together with one purpose: to allow the player to reach his full potential. The boots are lighter and stronger than ever before, backed by science and designed to work together with the foot. This is the science of speed, this is speed redefined!

When you get close to the boot, you can actually notice the ridges running along the entirety of the forefoot, and it's definitely something we'll discuss later, but it gives the boot a very unique look in your hands (also a unique feel).
On the heel area of the black and golden Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016-17 CR7 Boots are the numbers 07 and 08 to mark the season that is recognized as one of Cristiano Ronaldo's best seasons in history, while the number 03 indicates that the boots mark the third Chapter of Nike's CR7 Boot series. From a tech point of view, the first Next-Gen Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016-2017 Cristiano Ronaldo Boots are the same as the regular edition of the speed boots. However, it's expected that Cristiano Ronaldo will again receive a version of the boots with a lower Dynamic Fit collar.

The new Superfly V FG Soccer cleats are easy to spot on the field when wore by players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, but they are also easy to find anywhere a collection of soccer players are gathered. The reason for the popularity is simple. These soccer cleats are a stylish, but practical choice at an inexpensive price.
